A FALCON’S EYE - TRIBUTE TO SHEIKH SAOUD AL THANI
temporary exhibition
This exhibition pays tribute to Sheikh Saoud's legacy as a collector, and his crucial work for Qatari museums, as well as his personal interests in art, nature, the Egyptian world, gold, and other antique worlds.
We took as a reference the cabinet of curiosities, and its very particular way of exhibiting the objects, to give a more personal character to the collection and convey its magnitude and importance of the pieces. The cabinets of curiosities were the first places in which collectors reflected their curiosities and objects from all over the world, to expose them, in addition to playing an important role in social prestige.
