SYRIA MATTERS
temporary exhibition
This project takes place in the temporary exhibition hall of the MIA - Museum of Islamic Art. It tells the history of Syria and its cultural heritage as a fundamental part of the development of world civilization, and how the devastation of this heritage in recent years is destroying this important legacy. Through a very sober and elegant design, the space is reinterpreted generating spaces from projected curves of translucent fabric, which let us glimpse what happens in the subsequent areas, alluding to a retrospective vision of history. The illumination of each area generates a particular atmosphere, that accompanied by the pieces and the great audiovisual projections, generate the narrative of the exhibition.
